A full day workshop focusing on:

Year 6 SATs preparation for the grammar, punctuation and spelling, reading and mathematics KS 2 tests.
Analysis of the 2019 KS2 tests and implications for teaching


This training will be led by Shareen Mayers (primary English adviser and new moderation manager for Lambeth LA) and Steph King (primary mathematics adviser and author). This course is very popular and has been delivered across the country in the past, including in Manchester, Birmingham, London, Bromley, Kent, Surrey, Sutton, Bedfordshire, Luton and for various academy trusts and clusters. Feedback from this training in the past has been 100% excellent and both have extensive experience of delivering assessment training that has an impact on teaching and learning.

This course is suitable for new and experienced teachers because it draws on the latest KS2 tests and provides implications for teaching, as well as some practical activities. It is also updated annually to ensure it brings schools the very latest information.
