A 2 hour briefing for School Business Managers/finance officers with their headteacher to update them on the new financial procedures manual and to explore best financial practice.
The event will provide an overview of current funding streams and the work of the Schools forum It will also focus on providing practical guidance on financial planning taking into consideration the forthcoming changes which include the impact of falling rolls and pension contributions on school budgets. Schools Human Resources officers will also consider the implications for schools of these changes.
The event will also be a platform for launching the revised finance manual for Lambeth's maintained schools
