KS2 NQT Programme 2018-19 - Effective formative assessment / Assessment for Learning (AFL)

Supporting the Foundations of your Career

Outline

Our bespoke NQT Training Programme is a training package that will help your KS2 NQT focus on the key elements of teaching and learning in your school early in their teaching career. Our aim is to ensure your NQT is well prepared to meet the needs of all children so that every individual child makes accelerated progress and meets their full potential.

Sessions are delivered by Gipsy Hill's NLE, SLEs, Lead Practitioners and Year Leaders. We also offer sessions from external facilitators including Speech and Language Therapists, Creative Arts Therapists, PE Specialists, Philosophers and Music Consultants.

Description

Our programme of support for Newly Qualified Teachers will enable your NQTs to make rapid progress as teachers and have exceptional impact on the learning of the children they work with whilst also giving them the capacity for accelerated career development.
The training will be led by Gipsy Hill Federation’s specialist Deputy Headteacher in charge of provision for Newly Qualified Teachers, Sarah Gee, and wider Federation colleagues
