Come along to the Health & Wellbeing Board’s next Informal Session, which will be focused on ‘The Health of Children & Young People in Lambeth.’
The informal sessions are an opportunity for partners and members of the public to take part in a discussion about a specific topic relating to the Board’s work.
At the next session, you will be able to hear about priorities for Public Health in Lambeth in the run up to the publication of the Council’s Annual Public Health Report. This year, the report’s focus is on children and young people, and has two parts. One looks at the health issues now and in the short-term.
The other takes a longer view and explores how children and young people’s health might look ten years from now.
As well as hearing from local experts, you will be able to share your views and hear from other Lambeth residents through group discussions on a key
- Is children and young people’s health improving and what are the challenges that different groups of children and young people face?
- Do our future scenarios for children and young people’s health capture your concerns well?
- What can we do today to improve the health of children and young people growing up in Lambeth ten years from now?
The session will take place on Thursday 20th April, 5-6pm at the Karibu Education Centre, 7 Gresham Road, SW9 7PH.
