Pan Intercultural Arts is a creative, socially engaged, organisation.
Through drama and the expressive arts, we empower young people to unlock their potential by co-creating and delivering holistic, creative projects.
Weapon of Choice is our young theatre group.
They are a team of young performers, peer artists and facilitators that care about social change. Together, they produce performances, drama workshops and films, which engage young people in a meaningful dialogue about choices and futures.
Over a year ago, Weapon of Choice created a Forum theatre play about Joint Enterprise. Whilst touring this play they were surprised to learn many of the young people they met did not fully understand the law. Those that had heard of it misunderstood its implications and couldn’t imagine how it would/could, potentially, affect them. As a result of that learning, the group decided to make a film and accompanying workshop: Joint Enterprise: Know the Facts
Joint Enterprise: Know the Facts
The workshop is provided in the form of a 1-hour workshop. This can be presented within an assembly or as a single PSCHE lesson. it includes a screening of a short film and an explanation of the law as well as relevant cases and examples, discussion about the law and how to avoid becoming caught up in criminal activity/poor decision-making, and a Q&A.
The workshops are FREE for Lambeth schools on a first-come-first-served basis.
